Vector VR2

Vector VR2 industrial CNC router range

VR2 brings the machine structure, motion hardware, material control and safety response together with the V-CUT operator system.

CE marked. An Italian Teknomotor CNC spindle and a European extraction package are the standard European proposal. Alternative spindle and extraction options are available. Available as 1313, 1325, 1530, 2030 and 2040 platforms.

The Right Size for Your Production

Choose from five table sizes, or speak to us about a custom size. We’ll help you select the right VR2 for your sheet materials, available space and production needs.

  • 1313

    Vector VR2

1300 × 1300 mm table. A compact format for smaller sheets and components, with less floor space needed than the larger VR2 models.

  • 1325

    Vector VR2

1300 × 2500 mm table. Sized to accommodate standard 8 × 4 ft sheets, making it a practical choice for everyday sheet cutting.

  • 1530

    Vector VR2

1500 × 3000 mm table. Extra width and length for larger sheets and components, giving you more room to arrange parts within each job.

  • 2030

    Vector VR2

2000 × 3000 mm table. A wider working format for larger panels and sheet layouts that need more space across the table.

  • 2040

    Vector VR2

2000 × 4000 mm table. Our largest standard table size, suited to longer sheets, oversized panels and large-format production.

  • Vacuum Where You Need It

Select individual vacuum zones directly from V-CUT to match the position and size of your material, helping hold it securely during machining.

  • Automatic Extraction Brush Adjustment

The extraction brush automatically adjusts to the sheet height set in V-CUT, helping maintain dust collection with fewer manual adjustments.

  • FlowControl Air Management

FlowControl supplies cooling air when the process needs it, reducing unnecessary compressed-air use during the job.

  • Tool Cooling and Lubrication

Control tool cooling to suit the cutting task, with additional lubrication available for materials and applications that require it.

ActiveGuard safety system

Rapid Stop. Controlled Restart.

ActiveGuard monitors the machine’s light guard and triggers a rapid, controlled stop if the protective beam is interrupted.

Following a stop, V-CUT helps the operator recover and restart the job using the approved machine procedure, with the machine’s safeguards maintained throughout.

Built for everyday work

Less Manual Setup. More Time Cutting.

From automatic tool changes to straightforward file transfers, the VR2 helps reduce manual tasks throughout the working day. Its European specification pairs an Italian Teknomotor spindle with an extraction package selected to suit your application.

  • Spindle and Extraction Matched to Your Work

The standard European specification includes an Italian Teknomotor spindle and European extraction package, selected for the materials you cut and the work you do. Alternative options are available to suit your requirements and budget.

  • Automatic Tool Changes

A linear tool changer holds 10 or 14 tools, depending on specification, and switches between them automatically during the job. Complete operations using different cutters without stopping to change each tool by hand.

  • Simple File Transfers

Transfer production files through the machine’s supported network connections, with Wi-Fi included and wired LAN available as an option. These connections also support technical support workflows.

  • Accessible Electrical Cabinet

The rear-mounted cabinet brings the main electrical components together, giving trained engineers convenient access for maintenance and servicing.

Operator control

Three Ways to Control the Machine

Run the VR2 from the touch display, the MPG wheel or a wireless keyboard.

  • Touch

Control the machine from the V-CUT touch display.

  • MPG Wheel

The manual pulse generator wheel gives hand control of machine movement.

  • Wireless Keyboard

Use a wireless keyboard to control the machine.

Before you specify

Questions customers ask about the VR2

Will the control system prevent every operator mistake?

No. Training and safe setup remain essential. V-CUT provides clear feedback and checks such as ToolCheck, job-boundary preview, elevated path verification and Table Guard to reduce avoidable errors.

Can every user change machine settings?

No. RoleControl separates day-to-day operator access from owner and trained service settings.

What happens if a job is interrupted?

A trained operator can use the controlled SmartRestart and LiveRewind routes available for the known job position, rather than automatically repeating or abandoning the whole sheet.

What workshop services does the VR2 require?

Nominal requirements are 32 A for the machine, 16 A for extraction, 16 A for vacuum and 6 bar compressed air. The final requirements are checked for the selected configuration and customer site before quotation.
