DXF Manufacturing is a UK company specialising in cutting machinery, control systems and software. Our work spans CNC routers, fibre lasers for metal cutting and CO₂ lasers. We also develop V-CUT in Europe, bringing machine engineering and control software together with a focus on straightforward, practical operation.
Founded in 2020
Making Advanced CNC Control More Accessible
DXF began in 2020 as the research and development arm of Mantech Machinery. Our aim was to develop a European CNC control platform that combined capable software, dependable operation and straightforward controls at a competitive price. That ambition became V-CUT.
We develop V-CUT around the tasks operators face every day, from preparing a job to restarting interrupted work. Our focus is on making those tasks easier to manage while keeping advanced machine control within reach of more manufacturers.
The Vector programme
Bringing Vector to Life
Vector represents an ambitious engineering programme, bringing machine design, precision motion control and software development together into one integrated platform. From the outset, mechanical and electrical engineering developed alongside the control systems, ensuring that each element worked as part of a complete machine.
Turning that vision into reality required expertise across CAD design, CNC integration, software development, fabrication and machine building. Through close collaboration, testing and refinement, the team transformed an initial concept into a production-ready platform, considering product support throughout its development.
The result is Vector—a machine platform shaped by engineering expertise, practical experience and a clear commitment to its long-term development.
V-CUT
The Software Behind Vector
V-CUT is DXF’s own CNC control platform, developed in Europe alongside the Vector machinery range. It brings machine operation, job preparation and diagnostics together in one interface, designed around the operator’s everyday tasks.
Developing our own control software lets us refine how the machine works and how operators use it. It also gives us the scope to improve diagnostics, develop automation features and shape future products, while keeping value for manufacturers central to that work.

DXF brings together British machine engineering and European control software to develop cutting machinery built around the demands of modern manufacturing. We design and manufacture in the UK, integrating mechanical design, electrical engineering and software development across CNC routers and fibre lasers for metal cutting.
